"Big Money" is the ninth episode of the second season of Happy Days; it was also the 25th overall episode in the series. Written by Greg Strangis, the episode, which was directed by Jerry Paris, originally aired on ABC-TV on November 26, 1985.
Storyline
Richie finds himself in a moral conundrum when he finds the quiz show he participating in is fixed in his favor.
Plot summary
The game show quiz scandals of the 1950's are explored in this episode, in which Richie, as a game-show contestant, wins $3200 before time runs out for that week's show. After the show, he is given an envelope by the show's host that contains the answer to the $5000 question, as his ethics and conscience are put to the test.
