K.C. Cunningham is a character who appears in Season 10 of Happy Days. The part of K.C. is played by Crystal Bernard.

K.C. Cunningham, Howard's niece, moved in with him and Marion after daughter Joanie left with Chachi for Chicago. K.C. had just left an all-girls boarding school in Texas because it closed down. Her parents are always traveling. She also became friends with Jenny Piccalo (and later, Flip Phillips), and she went on her first date with Melvin Belvin.
K.C. is a talented singer (along with Jenny and Julie, in "Prisoner of Love"), and is known to cook.
Personality[]
K.C. Cunningham is a lively and friendly hick girl, and would hang out with her friends (most notably Jenny Piccalo).
She is shown to care for her friends and family, with examples being:
- In "All I Want for Christmas", she tries to get Howard and Dick (along with Marion and Belle) to stop fighting.
- In "I'm Not at Liberty", she participates at Heather's birthday party.
- In "Affairs of the Heart", after Jenny gets dumped by a guy, K.C. tries to comfort her with a short song about men.
Trivia[]
- In her first appearance ("A Night at the Circus"), K.C.'s hick accent is initially disliked by Jenny, as she comments "We need to do something about that accent.", and after failing to get her to say "Hi" in her own way, she comments "This may require surgery!".
- In later episodes of Season 10, she appears in the cast group at the end of the opening intro.
- In closed-captions of some episodes (last seen on Me-TV), her name is shown as Casey.
- Like Chuck Cunningham, K.C. has disappeared from Happy Days (after Season 10) without any explanation.
